As a child, Vic didn’t have many friends. He desperately craved attention and was fortunate to have met a lovely woman from Down Under name Meagan that at the time was on heavy medication. By the time she came off her meds, she found herself married, pregnant and living in Thailand. Too late to do anything and for the sake of their lovely son, she decided to stay and make the best of it.
Buoyed by his first sexual experience with someone other than himself, AND the fact that a perfectly normal and healthy woman was willing to live with him, Vic decided to be bold and venture out into the world.
Growing up without friends, Vic became a VDO Game addict and his favorite game of all time was the FIFA series with the WINNING series a close second. And being an Avid England follower, Vic fancied himself a player. He was consistently the top scorer on his PS 3 and always won every trophy available every year for twenty straight game seasons. So he also fancied himself a Manager as well.
Soon enough he realized that even though she was his wife, Meagan didn’t fancy sex with him ALL THE TIME. But since some sex is infinitely better than no sex, Vic was a changed man and full of confidence. So he decided to step out of his house.
He joined up with a local team in a local league and found that, yes he could play, but he wasn’t able to control his body the way he was able to control Michael Owen using the PS 3 controllers. But he was making some friends, so at least that was encouraging.
After the season ended, Vic also came to realize that his teammates weren’t really listening to him the way his digital players were. A little upset, but still full of confidence, Vic decided to create his own team. He was well aware that he might not be able to play like he does on the consoles, but surely he could manage a team in the same way.
And thus in the summer of 2009, Vic created the Bangkok Storm Football Club.
For some unknown reasons, a couple of players actually followed him into his new team. Rumor has it that some money was involved or sexual favors, maybe both. In anycase, he created the team with a couple of people who actually had known him from before.
Soon after though, he was able to lie/induce/pay/bribe/threaten his way and found himself with enough players to form a team, of course, most of these players had never known him and when he called himself a manager, he always left out the fact that it was only on the PS 3. Nevertheless, he had a team.
By this time, Vic’s son was walking and running around AND Meagan had not left him yet AND (usually while on Meds, yes Vic drove her back to them) would continue to have sex with him, so naturally, Vic was still full of confidence. And so he registered his team in to not one, but two local leagues.
It is now a few months after and either because of him, or despite him (no one is really sure yet, not even his wife) Vic finds himself with a full fledge squad of 34 players from all walks of life. He has five sponsors, excellent training facilities at Arena 10 and the most important thing of all, his team is actually competitive, AND Meagan is still not only around, but actually being very supportive. There are rumors that she is supportive since managing and playing with the team keeps him out of the house, but that is only conjecture.
Vic Sajnani, the Manager and Creator of The Bangkok Storm, for better or worse. Which incidentally is the unofficial team motto.
